Mast Young Plants - Market Update

The coax cables come out of the mast at the bottom, where they connect to ones that come out of the deck. The wired wind pack comes with wires that will run the length of the mast and would then connect into to NMEA system inside the boat. Does anyone have an experience setting something like this up on a deck-stepped boat?

On my mast support I put a rubber roller, like those used on boat trailers, on the frame at the point where the mast would come down on it. The pole has two opposing eyes on the other end. The runners are attached on both sides of the mast (port and starboard) at the same height where the fractional forestay attaches to the mast. The runners counteract the force applied by the forestay, just as a conventional backstay would counteract the force applied to the mast head by a conventional headstay.
