Phone Link app lets you connect your Android or iPhone to your Windows PC, allowing you to access many phone features directly on your computer. You can easily read and reply to text messages, view recent photos from your mobile device, use your favorite mobile apps, make and receive calls, and manage notifications from your mobile device on your PC. Using separate accounts on your computer protects both your Phone Link data as well as all other data on the shared PC.
For details on creating additional accounts, see Add accounts on your PC. Can I use the Phone Link as a non-default user or two phone mode user (available in Korea only)? On your PC: Open the Phone Link, go to Settings > Cross-device copy and paste, and make sure the toggle is On for Allow this app to access and transfer content I copy and paste between my phone and PC. If you tried to copy a large section of text and it didn’t paste on the other device, it’s likely to have exceeded the allowable amount.
text phone from computer, On the Phone set up page, choose whether you want to receive a text message or a phone call, and then select Next. In this example we're using text messages, so you must use a phone number for a device that can accept text messages. A text message is sent to your phone number. If would prefer to get a phone call, the process is similar. Allowing these permissions lets the Phone Link display content from your device.

Phone screen is available on Android devices in select markets running Android 10 or greater that have Link to Windows pre-installed. Important: Starting April 2025, Teams will no longer support sending and receiving SMS messages from your Android device. However, this change will not affect the messaging features in Phone Link. You can continue using Phone Link for messaging without any disruption.
